Movie cards
The movie pages have been enhanced. We added information about the director and cast, the film's country of origin, as well as a trailer and a brief plot summary.
We have rebranded and optimized the mobile application for cinemas.
A large chain of cinemas.
The Movie Tickets mobile app helps viewers choose screenings and buy tickets online without queues. The application, developed several years ago, required optimization. The movie pages were uninformative, lacking features like geolocation. Minor fixes did not solve the problem. It was necessary to completely revamp the application — adding new functionality and changing the user experience and design.
We analyzed the client's goals and needs, studied user reviews, and redesigned the app. Here’s what we changed:
The movie pages have been enhanced. We added information about the director and cast, the film's country of origin, as well as a trailer and a brief plot summary.

When selecting a movie, users can now apply filters by cinema type (recliner, standard, black) and by location. Cinemas are listed in order of proximity, starting with the nearest one.
We integrated the application with navigation systems. Each cinema's page now includes location data, which can be used with built-in mapping services to set a route or call a taxi.
We implemented a feature for ordering food and drinks from the cinema bar. Users simply need to scan the QR code on their chair or armrest, select items from the menu, and pay. A cinema employee will deliver the order directly to their seat in the hall.
When booking a ticket in the app, the user can also order food and drinks. They can pick up their order before the screening at the cinema bar and take it into the theater.
To help staff fulfill orders promptly, we implemented a Kanban board in the service. Order cards are organized by status: "new order", "in progress", and "ready". A timer is set for each order automatically.
The service is integrated with printers to quickly print order and customer information. This allows the courier to receive a labeled order, preventing confusion with delivery addresses.
